As AP’s first-ever head of digital + social video, I oversee a talented team of seven producers and curators across the world.

So far, we have:

  • Increased AP's YouTube channel by 1M subscribers YoY, in partnership with AP’s B2B newswire video team.

  • Increased YouTube Live views and revenue by 10x within a year's time. Shorts views also more than doubled YoY.

  • More than doubled the following of AP’s TikTok account YoY — becoming one of the fastest-growing news accounts, according to Press Gazette.

  • Increased our Instagram following by +30%, in collaboration with AP’s engagement team.

  • Built a video curation strategy + team from scratch, helping AP achieve record-breaking views on APNews.com in 2023.

Beyond the scope of my team, I am also part of the editorial leadership team responsible for expediting AP’s digital transformation across all platforms.

Additionally, I work closely with AP’s B2B newswire video team to train reporters and producers on how to pitch, script, shoot and edit stories that look and feel made for digital audiences.
